Production Manager Position- Deadline July 8th, 2011

We are currently recruiting to fill the position of Production Manager at our manufacturing plant in Surrey, BC. Reporting to the Operations Manager, the Production Manager oversees all aspects of Beachcomber Hot Tubs Production Department.

Main qualifications:

  • 10 years of experience in a production environment.
  • Experience overseeing a minimum of 100 employees in a unionized workplace
  • Experience managing a multicultural workplace and have mastery in people skills and managing change.


Attributes and Skills:

  • A natural leader of people with a high level of impersonal skills, and a track record to go with it
  • Highly professional and task driven with the ability to work under pressure
  • Trained and experienced in all facets of Lean Manufacturing, Theory of Constraints, and ISO 9001 would be preferred
  • Highly  mechanical and hands on mentality
  • Capable of managing a factory in accordance with Safety Regulations and a union agreement
  • Ability to effectively communicate with Management, and Production Teams
  • Excellent Computer Skills
  • The ability to go the extra mile to make things happen
